I believe there's a certain level of control when it comes to the destination of the leagues most marketable stars, but I don't necessarily believe the NBA is automatically biased towards big/glamour markets (officiating is another story).

Absolutely, no other way to explain Cleveland having the #1 3 out of 4 years. Yes I'm aware Kyrie was chosen with the Clippers pick and technically Cleveland didn't win in 2011, but the pick was in Cleveland's possession either way. Semantics.

The Bulls got that sh!t 3 times in the last 15 year alone and didn't even had the worst record (we did) when they got it and took Rose...the local kid Cleveland got it to take Lebron... the local kid Then got 3 #1 picks after Lebron left in what Stern himself said was a "disappointing for Cleveland fans".
