that's why I think he needs to come back. The problem is that if Thibs puts him on some minutes limit like the Knicks did with Shumpert and Minny with Rubio, everyone's gonna scream bloody murder especially in a close game. Rose's return got overhyped to where he couldn't live up to that (including you, but we all knew that)
Barring any other setbacks, I already know Rubio's gonna bounce back much better because he'll have an entire half of a season to see his progress (and now he's doing shyt he wasn't even doing before the injury.) Knicks fans probably feel the same way about Shumpert.

Obviously when dude comes back, there will be minute limitations. that's fine. that's to be expected. and as he gets comfortable, those limitations will gradually go away. Thibs is not dumb enough to have dude playing 35+ minutes a game after 10 months out from a serious injury. and if he doesn't know this, I'm sure ownership and the front office has given him very explicit instructions for how much he can play.
rubio has been great lately. well better than ever. and I haven't seen much shumpert, but I watched him last night, and the main thing I noticed is that he wasn't even wearing a knee brace.

Quite the opposite. If anything Ricky can get to the rim at will now (whether he finishes or not is another story, but he can drive to the rim better. Laterally it's taking him some time but defensively he's back to where he was. Now he'll have a whole summer to work on his game with his teammates and then next year he can start off like everyone else.

I don't know if Bulls doctors are the best judges of when someone is healthy enough to play. Nothing wrong with Rose using his own timetable.
Rose is being a bytch at this point....if hes 100% physically but doesnt want to play cause of the mental aspect thats the very definition of being a bytch. So what if they cant beat the heat? Is sitting out a couple more months gonna make the bulls magically better? Is he gonna be at 110% or 120%? Like homie above me said I guess he should sit out the next 4-5 years since the bulls ain't beating the heat anyway

first off the "not beating the heat" excuse is not rose sentiment, its some shyt being said by posters here
secondly, yall have to stop looking at rose like he rubio or shumpert. he is a 300 million dollar investment, and the last thing he needs is to be coming back favoring a knee. that is the quickest way back to re injuring not trusting. addidas, the bulls, hell giordanos is going to go to the poor house if rose suffers another injury and becomes this generations penny hardaway. i do agree he needs some game time to build the trust, but all this talk like he should have been come back, and him ignoring his comfort on playing on the knee is asinine. he will have a hell of a burden to carry when he gets back. he needs to take his time.

or have rose coming back to a team with more dynamic wings and a great bench. that would be a lot better to come back to then a team that will place so much on his shoulders
take my word for it, if it was lebron, prime kobe, those caliber players then you would see the same precaution. these dudes are big investments cant just trot them out there cause a few fans are impatient and misdiagnosing rose injury. fans who think they smarter than the doctors. thats the shyt i dont like.

What is the benefit of sitting him? Everyone coming off this injury has confidence issues. That's why u play the games in a limite role.
