You sound ESPN with this thread.

shyt is non a story. I was at the game and Peyton passes looked like they always have. He was just off and I think was due to rust.
I wasn't complaining tho :whew:

Anyway, whats the problem if the Broncos don't want their 100 million dollar quarterback with neck issues throwing his arm out trying to chuck the ball 60 yards downfield?

:myman:

you musta forgot where you are bruh...cats look for any excuse to shyt on anybody...

and are drooling waiting to pull out :flabbynsick: for manning

hell they pulled it out after week one for vick :whoo:

thats just not true

his arm strength was visibly worse

first week he attempted one pass over 20 yards, this week he attempted 5. 3 of those were picked off. that first int hung up like a fukking curveball

definitely not a non story considering he'd never be pulled in Indy.

His arm is noticeably weaker imo..

Alot of those picks were because he under threw them.

Maybe for some but that's not the case here. You all act as if this man has not had 4 neck surgeries and did not sit out an entire year. I will admit he threw a nice ball that went right through the hands of Decker midway through the fourth quarter that was about 40 yds but to say his arm overall looks the same is just being in denial. His arm is not the same. Maybe because he's 36, maybe because he's been out a year and has a little fatigue in the shoulder, but his ball doesn't have the same zip.

I can't even remember the last time Manning actually threw a Hail Mary, and those picks were mainly bad decisions. His ball has lost some zip though.

I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to downplay this. I would assume you saw the game and clearly saw that Peyton could not throw the ball deep without it hanging and fluttering. If not, please go see the highlights of the first quarter. Peyton has been in situations before where a HM was necessary and he wasn't pulled. He might have to learn to play in a system instead of his "thanks for the play coach but I'll make all the changes at the line" offense because defenses are gonna bring safeties up and dare him to beat them deep. Which was evident he couldn't do Monday.

You mean like he had to do in Indy? What kind of system would he have to play in?

Maybe you missed my point, he is pretty much the defacto O coordinator. He was the system in Indy for years because he could beat you with any throw. A true West coast O my suit him if his arm really starts to deteriorate. He might have to play more from under center to give the run game a chance instead of the draw from shotgun only when there are 6 in the box.

good point. he was doing short throws in week 1 and was looking good at it to the point most people decided hes fully back.

his main problem will be going against his habit of wanting to throw the ball into tight windows when his arm cant make those throws anymore. if he can overcome that, he can still be a great qb by throwing short passes. just cant force shyt anymore and have to make good decisions.

Yes....and you know his mind will tell him to do it because it's how he's built. This could get bad fast if there is a power struggle for the offense. I hope they can fix it. I hate seeing the fall of legends but I'm afraid either way, 5 years is a stretch at this point.

Its not nothing to make a fuss about but the thread starter has a point. I've never heard of a starting franchise QB getting taken out for anything unless its an injury or a blowout.
So you're just gonna disregard the delicate Sanchez & Tebow two-step that the Jets are dancing across various & sundry fields every weekend this fall?

Oh.

Ok. -_-

Sanchez gets NO respect. He's the face of a franchise...in his own mind.

On topic: I hope Skip Bayless doesn't hear this yardbarker rumor. He'll shyt a brick. Peyton's passes had excess "mustard" on 'em from Skip's (clinically insane) vantage point.

lol it's amazing how one week can change perceptions.

I see what you guys are saying, but the thing is......

it's not anything new, those last couple of years he was Indy the Colts were more of a short, intermediate passing team. They weren't beating people deep that often even then.

just like the game against the Steelers. It's.Just.One.Game. ATL played him just like the Chargers used to, which was making his pre snap reads difficult by constantly moving around. He'll make the proper adjustments, which is running the ball down their throat if they try it again.

lmao @ a power struggle.
