Duncan and Kobe have so many rings and so much team success and so much individual success and so many supestar level seasons under their belt that I don't think the same rules apply...
One could make the argument that 5 rings is more impressive than 4 mvp's...you got to be real good for a real long time to win 5 rings...
So yeah...if Curry wins 5 rings but doesn't win another MVP or never wins a finals MVP...then the rule would apply to him to...he just has 4 more to go...

Eh, I'd say this is the first full year while last year was more or less a transition year. Once he beat him in the finals it was over.
Even then numbers suggest the same thing as he's doing far more this year compared to last.

It's stephen curry era now, he is not better than lebron career wise..obviously. But it is his league now, the torch is slowly being passed to curry. The guy I feel bad about in all of this is Durant, he was supposed to be the next guy but he is an afterthought. Curry took most of his shine.
