People has the first images of Kermit’s new girlfriend, Denise. It seems Kermit has a definite “type.”

The viral marketing “break-up” of the iconic couple is all par to the lead in to the new Muppet’s ABC pseudo-docuseries. Denise will appear on the show, as will guest star Liam Hemsworth, who is playing the role of Piggy’s new flame.
The Muppets premieres Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
