I think he's trynna be like his daddy. I don't know him, never met him, but we had 1-2 degrees of separation (Harlem is small, I have 1-2 deg of separation with Cam, Mase, Dave East, all the historical Harlem gangsters and bougie nikkas, etc). When he was little, his moms had a side hustle: she sold clothes. Harlem, being in Manhattan, has always been deeply entwined with the world of fashion. Similar to a tupperware party, she used to have fashion shows in the homes of the fancy negroes, her former class peers.
