...how the fukk they still put that garbage camera n in it? Seriously if this thing had a dope ass camera they would be right back at the top imo. That case idea is golden. ..build quality is dope...the guts are there...the expandability with so card slot going up to 12 8GB of support is huge.......but I cannot go back down to a weal camera after enduring the weak nexus 4 camera. Who the hell mad that decision? HTC wants to "get back to the top" but makes a dumb decision with that camera smh.

I was ready to skip the Sony z2 for this phone until I seen the previews and reviews talking about the same garbage camera. At this point the Sony z2 and the forthcoming g3/iPhone 6 seems more intriguing. Damn you HTC lol.

I know people will still fukk with it...Some people will say the camera is not that important to them...understandable...but I said the same thing.....until I had the weak camera......and realized I need a better one lol.

Is it worth getting over the original HTC One? I'm in the market for a new phone, and can't decide which of the two is a better buy.

The reviews I saw they pretty much see no difference in quality between it and the original HTC one beyond the new background focus feature. I can't do anything that's not at least gs4/note 3 quality. I loved my nexus 4 but I was in a few crucial situations where I took pics only to find out how bad they looked when I got home. Never thought the camera would be important to me until I needed it (hence why I got the nexus 4 anyway)...I can't do it. My nexus 4 broke and I ended up getting a note 3 and the difference in camera quality is huge...to the point where I use it much more.

outside of that the M8 would've been copped I LOVE that dot case...it's genius imo and ofcourse the build quality......but that camera :scusthov:

I have the og HTC one and i dont have any problems with the camera. But then again i dont really use the camera too often no matter what phone i have.

For me personally the camera isnt that high on my list for smartphone features. Im sure it gets the job done :manny:

What do yall be taking pictures of like that that you need a dslr quality camera in ya phone?

It really just depends on what your using your camera for. If your just taking pictures to post on instagram and other social media then you'll be fine. But if your looking for higher pixel density so you can crop and shyt, then ya get a P&S

quality cameras serves their purpose on mobile devices. I always have my phone with me, but don't always have an actual camera on me. With that being said, there's always moments that come up when I take pics. If those pics are just shyt for social sites, then fukk the quality. But, if those pics are of the family or something I'm going to hold value to, then I want a qualtiy pic, because I'll be transferring that to my Mac and editing later.

I know when I'm going to need my DSLR, because those moments are usually planned & scheduled.

Like I posted in the android thread, I compared it side by side with the LG G2, the G2 was noticeably faster, sharper image, and the difference in pictures made the M8 look like damn crayons.
