Crime went down EVERYWHERE during the '90s and has for the most part remained down.
Even place like Chi-town don't have the crime rates they had in the early '90s.
How does Giuliana and Bloomberg get so much credit when L.A. and most other big cities are the safest they've been in decades as well?
Hell, San Francisco had a higher crime drop in the '90s than NYC did.
AND crime started going down in NYC 18 months BEFORE Giuliani got in office.
It's not the crazy ass Gestapo tactics that made crime go down. It was the end of crack and technology that made crime go down.
