My bad you right,i thought in the drink champz interview i remember him saying itnwas a version without him,but he just said it was a remixed version.
I dont remember that,maybe cuz deathrow was going much harder at snoop after he left
...either way i sfill think Snoop makin this up,or it was pointless to mention since nobody realized it was about deathrow all these years....no subs or anything

I don't know about "Down For My N's" being about DR, but he was dissing them hard before he signed to No Limit. He was trying to leave Deathrow before he signed with DL,so Deathrow nikkas was on his ass for that...Who knows how serious it was,or if Snoop spooked himself....but with all the rumors about Suge killin Pac that was goin around at the time,i could see him taking it serious,or from just seeing what they did to other nikkas back in the day firsthand.
Im sure he was getting taunted all over LA,if not threatened,whether real or not....plus i dont know if he ran to Master P for protection,he said P was the only person not afraid to sign em,so it probaly just worked out that way....similar to pac signing with deathrow.
