To be fair Death Row wasn't really "Death Row" by the time No Limit got big.

Suge was locked up since '97 & the company had crumbled heavily. It was mostly ran by lackeys &/or street nikkas. Most of the original cats were gone, not even including all the artists.

I doubt No Limit would puff their chest out as much if it was '95-'96 Death Row. Doesn't mean No Limit were soft but the play would've been different.
