I appreciate the sentiment that we need more black shows but we can do better than this. I've avoided it because I knew it would be filled with foolishness after I seen the trailer . Plus Lee Daniels is behind it. I find that dudes work demonic....this the nikka who brought us Precious....just a glimpse at his filmography:
Monsters Ball : A film about a black woman who demeans her dark skinned obese son and falls in love with a white racist who kills her husband. The film ends with them eating ice cream. Can you imagine doing a race reversal with the plot? A film about a black racist who kills a white woman's husband and fukks the shyt out of her and the film ends with them looking at the stars and eating ice cream.You think that would win an Oscar? Halle won an award for it....
I could keep going about his other flicks but....you know what...i might be overreacting...

- 1.) Black Men killing each other…. “check”
- 2.) Angry Black Woman going after a Black male “check”
