I found a gym thats only $12 a month BUT they want a $50 enrollment fee...

I walked in-- I looked around, then went to the desk and asked if they can drop the $50 enrollment fee

she said they could cut it in 1/2 and Ill only pay $25

I was like :shaq2:

I tried everything too... I told them

1.) I was checking out all the gyms and knew cheaper ones (true)

2.) I dont pay for enrollment fees anymore (true)

3.) I have friends that go here, at least 3 or 4 (lie)

4.) other gyms will wave the enrollment (lie)

Nothing worked with this bytch.. So I finally pulled out my final bargaining chip and decided to walk

What gym is this?

I remember when I signed up at LA Fitness, I didn't have to pay an enrollment fee because my cousin was a member, and my monthly payments was $30. Since I working downtown, I started going to the Signature Club, and I had to pay a $100 something enrollment fee, plus first and last dues of $45 each. These MFs also hesitated to waive the $30 that just got deducted from my previous enrollment. I told them I was willing to upgrade my membership, just waive the $30. They kept talking fast like I was dumb. When they saw I wasn't gonna give in, they went ahead and waived the $30.

I have a membership at Planet Fitness for $10/mo.

Granted, it's wack, but you can't beat the price. :manny:
