So everybody come help me choose between cable and dsl internet

ok im moving into my own spot, so i already decided to get direct tv, and ima get madden off amazon which will have the nfl sunday package code in it :winningmanning:

so now i need to pick a internet provider to go wit it

ok my options really at the moment is att(dsl) and cox cable(cable), so for the stuff im going to be doin i need a really really good solid connection(gaming, streaming, downloading, multiple devices on at once), as i check cox has a 25 mb option, att has a 6mb extreme connection, 6mb sounds super super weak for what i need, so i really want to know if it difference between how cable and dsl connects and runs, the direct tv rep who wanted me to bundle wit att was saying how dsl is a dedicated line and will be more than enough to do everything i want, and that cable internet connect wit everybody on the block connections

so breh help me out here and help me not get a flabby connection, im putting my life in u nikkaz hands

breh they dont have uverse in that area yet, its still dsl, but u think att is trash in whole, cause im still thinking how is a 6mb extreme connection gon stand up to a 25 mb connection

Cable typically has better speeds than DSL from what i remember.


Based off speeds alone that you posted, i'd go with Cox

ATT is trash period for home internet.

I've been ever since I got Comcast in comparison to that trash.

yea thats what i was thinking, that bundles rep had me like so im like u really think 6mb gon handle all this stuff, he says he has it and its great, but im like compared to a 25 mb its trash right, he was like na cause it runs off a dedicated line so it will be better fukk them nikkaz

Dsl sucks. I work for comcast, get that BLAST 50 Mbps with your own D3 and you should be good. You typically get more than what you pay for. I wish FIOS was available
