I started to fukk with his music more AFTER the Drake back and forth, he kept improving into a rapper I really respect, for his craft and content. He also got sober, which for sure improved the quality of his music from the 2015 album, which I thought was uneven at best, to DC4 and all his 2017 releases were fire.

Save Me
Bag Talk
Heavy Heart
Price
Left Hollywood

Those are street classics to me.

Taxstone gets locked...everybody comes with the "damn, his podcast was Goat, beloved".
Meek was the king of Ls... now its #freemeek.
nikka meek is a decent/good artist who came up the looong way.
I cant listen to any Drake, but that nikka is a special artist.. that transcends hip hop. smh..

Wow, some random shyt nobody paid attention to at the time. nikka...stop it. When charged up got released people were patiently waiting for the “street nikka” Meek to respond with some fire. nikkas really thought that he would get Drake touched up and all that bullshyt. When Drake straight up punked him, nikkas just stopped respecting him and it was open season. Game and 50 never would have dissed Meek before the Drake beef. Then his pathetic boxing video got released and it just added fuel to the fire. He just lost all credibility which is a huge blow for somebody who has been pushing the tough guy image his whole career.
Charged up was wack and got laughed at. Wanna know was wack and got forgotten about. Back to Back was a banger, War Pain was a good reply on some rap shyt but not comparable to Back To Back in terms of widespread appeal. Then the Drake fans went into overkill with the memes. That was the battle. Meek didn't lose credibility, he just couldn't compete with Drakes popularity especially in this meme age we live in. The battle didn't even really stay in hip hop circles.

And Game been a Drake dikk rider for the longest time, and always jumps in beefs. Remember when he went at Lil Durk for Tyga and Shyne for Kendrick. That's what Game does. And 50 and Meek been throwing jabs.

Meek didn't lose credibility, he just lost favor with the Drake Stan army. Meek still gets mad love on the rap side of things, that hasn't changed.

Y’all got to stop with this revisionist history. Nobody hated Meek because he “exposed” Drake. He got clowned because as the supposedly “tough guy” street rapper he got thoroughly sonned by the “fake” love song making rapper. His credibility went out the window when people saw that he was actually a punk.

B2B was not sonning anybody that song was trash

Highlighting his situation as an example of our broken justice system is a good thing. He's a recognizable name & that draws attention.
Still don't fukk with his music tho.......

Falls
exactly... he was still dropping fire, never took a loss in the street, exposed drake for being a fraud, and still dropped a top album after that

only people who wasn't fukking with meek was internet nerds and gossipers... never heard a real nikka diss meek

Facta breh
I'm up in Canada and everybody was riding for Meek
I got into mad arguments with people over the meek hate
Only fakkits ever disliked Meek. Speak for yourself brehs. Meek been droppin heat left and right. Wins and Losses was :wow:

Eagles were inspired. Went and won that ring for the kid.
He spoke some real pain shyt that anybody that been through the rain could feel
People from the burbs can't relate so they hate

Some people might have joked about how Meek would be yelling all the time, but he really didn't start getting full on hated till he exposed Drake. The Drake bandwagon turned on Meek big time after that, which is funny cause they was on Meeks dikk too for a hot minute before all that.

So nah not everybody loved Meek, but a good amount of people did. He was still a top ranking mc before he got locked, and one of the last cats representing that east coast grimey straight spitting type shyt.

This ain't a lil boosie situation, Meek was actually already a top rapper.

Real
Everybody loved him (ppl that only listen to mainstream music) until he exposed Drake
Back in the 90z he would have been labelled a King for it.

Ease up on the boosie comment tho lol
That's my GOAT :mjcry:
He always been a top rapper
Boosie just ain't recognized as one by the mainstream
He tells real stories for every mood/situation you ever faced
I always tell ppl if they listen to any mixtape they'll become a fan
No way you can't :wow:
