by all of this. If you want the turtles to be done "right" then it needs to be rated R or at least a hard pg 13 but the closest we'll get to that is the 1990 movie and nothing since has come close. And you're right, the backlash against the grittiness of the first one made them go with something lighter and more in the vein of the cartoon for the 2nd one and the franchise has been on a downfall movie wise ever since, except TMNT which I know a lot of cats on here probably didn't see because it was animated therefore it must've been wack (coli logic). It's the same way dudes bytched about the robocop remake "ruining the franchise" when I do believe Robocop 3 exists and that awful tv show exists and the robocop cartoon. We will probably never get something in the vein of the '90 movie again and people gotta be ok with that. Not only was it a relatively small budget at the time but it was an independent movie. Transformers 4 has a 14 or 19% rt and still made a Billi in the box office, Michael bay movies are critic proof
Why is RT the bible to these nikkas, NOBODY talks about their reviews outside of the internet, I can understand IMDB they are harsh but at the same time fair. Its not like that fukk ass website has any effect on these movies, people still go see them and sequels are still made. So why do their overly critical ass reviews get mentioned every time a movie comes out especially during summer blockbuster season, where we all should know by now that they dont like these type of movies..
