all daws have the strengths and weaknesses on a basic level, but when it comes down to it, if you know you know what you're doing, you can do pretty much anything on any daw.

can you use VST in reason 6? I know you can't in reason 5...that should be a deal breaker for anyone trying to use reason for their MAIN app...IMHO
You can use RE's in Reason 6.5 which are mainly VST ports.
how about effects? compression, eq, etc.?
