In Colombia it is insanely easy to get an investment visa. Just have to say that you will open a business here and invest $10K. There are burgeoning design, manufacturing, and IT industries here and a large talent pool to select from. I would suggest this for anyone looking to move and wanting to be an entrepreneur.
Standard of living* here is the same as living in the U.S. You won't be missing anything if you lived in a major city like Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena.

. I really need to connect with expats in my age range because everyone I've spoken to thus far have been older and retirees. So they all advised me to wait until I retire so that I can have a stable flow of income. It's not bad advice but
