He's in the lead no doubt and the only real way for things to tilt back in the other direction is for the Knicks to be consistent contenders for the title while the Nuggets to become a lottery squad. Not ready to call it yet though.

lets be reality here. NO TEAM was beating the 96 bulls in the finals. the sonics should get a consolation ring just for winning 2 games in that series.

Agreed pretty much the greatest team of all time. That sonics team coulda beat the bulls team the jazz played though

um no, knicks have a way better chance to make the conf finals cause the east is weak after miami. Denver has no shot. and melo still >>> anybody on your squad

im talking about the trade....which, is what the thread is about, saying that Den won the trade. Nobody in their right mind would want Gallo/Wilson chandler instead of Melo...The fact that denver is playing better is not a reflection on the trade, but knicks mismanagement. Thats what Im sayin.

yo is that u in the avi my nikka? u got a nice skin tone? and the glasses compliment your face very well... u single at all my nikka?

Except that's not really NY's goal.

i would hope no teams goal would be less than a title. so Denver dont get no ring for making the conf finals either, so we on the same playing field and the knicks are better positioned therefore if anything NY won the trade

Denver's more comfortable with maxing out as a WCF team than NY is for being an Eastern Conference Finals team. Not winning a title but being a perennial playoff team would be just fine with Denver. That scenario would eat Knicks fans alive.

i guess but thats too ny centric like its not baseball with no cap, we cant just win only cause we are an NY team with money, Denver has just as good of a chance. i mean denver wouldve been perenial playoff with Melo so again its like we won the trade if anything, you could say its a wash but not Denver won

This is completely false. Not the "Denver woulda been a perennial playoff team with Melo" part but the "its a wash" part. How is it a wash if the Nuggets are the same or maybe even a little better than they were with Melo? :dwillhuh: Let's not act like these teams are on equal footing. The Knicks made the trade in order to become a legit contender. The Nuggets made the trade to avoid becoming Cleveland/Orlando. The Nuggets are clearly in the lead now, there is no denying that. It's not a complete win yet because the Knicks still have a chance to be that contender.

They could fukk around and make it to the WCF

It would be tough beating OKC in 7 but its possible. I could deff see them upsetting the LA clippers in 7

Miami though.... Miami gon give whoever their issue in the finals

The Knicks could make the ECF too :merchant: your basing this thread off what you think will happen when they will most likely not make the WCF. Hell might lose in the first round again

SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
Yup. I don't care what no one says. OKC took a step back this year. Spurs with the injury to Tony Parker seem to be crumbling right around the time I expected them too.

Denver can out run the Clippers.

San Antonio is nowhere near crumbling....

We are going to find our backup pg during this time and Kawhi da god is going to take it to the next level

Denver has a very good chance at the Conference finals. OKC, San Antonio and them. I'm not completely sold on the Clippers yet, they dont have that IT factor I guess, they might prove me wrong. But I'm more sold on them than the Grizz.

I'd like to see Kobe go far in the playoffs but with D'Antoni coaching and the way Nash and Howard are playing on that team, there's only so much the man can do by himself come playoff time.
