Every year I got to hear , but bu bu, we wasn't technically free, but bu bu the white man gave us a national holiday bu bu bu what about Walmart selling ice cream etc smh

We supposed to be cashing out business wise and celebrating ourselves during these times. That is literally how every other group handle their holidays. Whenever it's anything dealing with pride and progression with black people it keeps turning into in-fighting and complaints of why it's not perfect enough to honor it. And it's disheartening. Smh

We was at a Joint Fathersday-Juneteenth BBQ yesterday and had a great time. I don’t usually drink but the Henny and overall atmosphere made the whole damn day.

Nothing but black folk having fun, enjoying the summer as we should be
