if you see them playing on your friends list, that means there's already an electronic trail of real evidence. xbox live sees they're playing the game, before the release, so why would they need people to snitch?
it means it's your responsibility to know if what you're buying is legal
just because you buy something at a store, it doesn't negate your responsibility for being in possession of that thing. sure, they'd probably also like to look into the store that sold it, but you're still at fault
it's tied to the saying "ignorance (of the law) is no excuse (for breaking it)"
This is wrong on so many fronts. Having the game isn't "illegal.". And Microsoft ain't the popo.
I was just trying to explain the concept. you can substitute "illegal" with anything that violates the xbox terms of service

Wait a minute I just remembered you can play online without actually connecting online. I'll just use XBSlink to try Halo 4 MP without signing on. I know there's people on that.

So microsoft is gonna have a stream takin down, but they wouldn't peep who was playing?
Like if the stream doesn't show who's playing? When you die, they don't show gamertags when you look at the score n shyt?
Did the stream have the GT's blocked out somehow?
If so, okay. I didn't look at it. But common sense should of already told you MS would be on top of that

Go to craigslist, in my area the average price to have an xbox modded is about $20
I found a guy who does it for $15, never seen them advertise for more than $25
These guys also usually can fix a broken xbox, could tell if your xbox is on its last legs/etc.
You could find a used xbox for chump change via there as well.

That isn't an insta ban, but what they then do is check your entire history to see if its consistent with what a modder does.
When games leak, everyone knows they leaked. They keep track.
If you just so happen to be playing every new game weeks early, right around the time a leak happens?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Then they always coming up with new ways to see if your xbox is modded period.

your level of comprehension is very minuscule i see. nikka I meant that since dude was playing a legal copy of the game and not a downloaded one I figured they didn't ban him. That's what I mean. Obviously they are going to shut down the stream to prevent him from spoiling the game for anyone else, but why Ban him on xbl if he bought a copy of the game? let him play it, he ain't bothering anyone and MS still gets his $60.
