People talk about his burials but rarely mention the MOST glaring one.

Going over one of the biggest runs in the history of the business, The Rock in 2000.

Rock was MASSIVE at this time and was finally going to have his WM moment and they booked HHH to go over :mjlol:

Looking back at it though HHH NEEDED it. Rock was fine because of his SKILLS but HHH NEEDED to put himself over the biggest run since AUstin cause no one liked him.

HHH didn't even put his boy Reigns over last year despite heavily teasing the match. :snoop:

The one time I can remember being furious is when HHH beat Rock at what was Judgement Day '00(?) in the Iron Man match.
Folks had ordered the PPV for me. I was a little mark as a kid and was legit
:deadrose:
I'm not saying he buried anybody there, and truthfully, Rock wasn't hurt at all.
Never was, really. He probably lost more big matches than Austin & HHH combined but he always came into RAW and was arguably always the most over guy in the building.
HHH is just the first heel I can recall that I detested and to that end, he did his job.
I wasn't really paying attention to wrestling as much during his '03 run of doom so I missed the burials people reference from that era.
He had no business going over Lesnar, though.

HHH stans can't name one good HHH match that didn't involve weapons, stipulations, or interference. He could never wrestling a normal exciting one on one match like all the greats
what about his match with Daniel Bryan last year?

He and Goldberg broke even in that feud, IMO. Goldberg won, then HHH won.
Goldberg was on FIRE heading into SS, HH beat him & killed all of that
Goldberg won the next month at whatever the PPV was and got the belt
Month after that HHH took that shyt right back in a match with him & Kane(Who was on his Brock Lesnar shyt at the time and should have been the top heel) :heh:
