Maybe because the rise of the internet made it so we didnt' need to be contrained by the likes of a cable box or by the time a show comes on.

Its just not really practical anymore. People stream cable, and the internet is available everywhere
I've downloaded movies (torrents) from mcdonalds before
But my point is, so many people stream cable like say.. during a boxing match/sporting event
Then TV shows and movies in the movie theater are streamed online, just waiting for you to make use of it

Its literally as simple as looking for it. Not doing massive research, but simply looking for it one time.
In 2014, its too easy to find. In 2012, it was a little tougher to find shyt. Not today tho brehz

And one tip... its easier to find a stream of an exact item (show/movie/whatever) than it is to just looking up a stream for movies in general. Like, if you looking for spongebob then look up spongebob streams and you'll find it on the first page of results.
