E's been a hip hop drug since at least the very late 90's early 2000's...by the mid 2000's every other bum ass dime bag selling ass weedman had the wack ass "extacy" pills that actually had who knows what in them...i don't if "molly" became the thing in rap circles as a response to the garbage pills and people looking for actual mdma, but yeah it's weird how all of a sudden it noticeably started being named drop in basically every other song starting early this year...know it's been a part of EDM scene forever, maybe all these techno beats in rap and rnb are the blame...
