i usually dap people who quote me and a post thats gets a dap, a post thats gets a rep

All the reasons above, but there a few other special reasons:

If a running joke starts in a thread and someone keeps it going, I'll dap.
If someone mentions being Haitian, I dap them to support my own.
A lot of times, I'll dap posters from Detroit or Michigan at least once a thread to support my own.
If someone makes a wrestling reference in a thread outside of TSC, I'll dap.
I dap good aliases. @Hollywood Hogan is auto-dap about 90% of the time.
If I someone has a really interesting reflection and it's well-written with spacing/punctuation/grammar/vocabulary, the teacher in me daps it out of appreciation.

Can sumone explain what the dap/undap does. I know u do it to people u dnt like but why do people trip off it. I've been dap /undapd before and I didn't get mad or nothing.

-The usual reasons (hilarious or thoughtful posting)
- When I see someone using one of the smileys I made
- If I see someone's been giving me a whole bunch of daps in a stretch of time, I make sure tthey get their proper due

Only time I dap/undap is if I see something that made sense the first time, then later on I realize Wait a minute this didn't make as much sense in hindsight, or accidentally when I'm on my phone and the connection is shytty.

Maybe it's like being stood up or waiting for some food you saved up only to see someone took it. Cats come to their alerts thinking Oh shyt someone likes what I wrote! only to ask What happened?
