Make an event in your calendar on your phone, and set an alert for the day before the free trial ends.

Most of my subscriptions are financial software or scheduling software subscriptions, no option to turn off Auto-Renewal

Call your bank. Tell them you want to REVOKE ACH AUTHORIZATION.
Do not tell them to stop a payment, because it’s temporary and the bank will charge you for it.

You can stop electronic debits to your account by revoking the payment authorization, sometimes called an “ACH authorization."
