I'm seeing a lot of these companies doing 8 to 5 for work schedule with the 1 hour lunch included.


I'd rather do a 30 minute lunch and on an 8 to 4. By the time that hour hits I'm not tryna work anymore.

The real flex is flexible working hours. And half an hour minimum is foul.

If someone has restricted breaks, I take the view that they work security or in some Customer Service role, in other words the opposite of what you try and present yourself as you bootstrap babbling c00n.

Its a work life balance. A lot of jobs have flexible scheduling meaning if its a 7/8 hr day, you'll just need to work that amount of time. Whethwr you rake a 15-30-45 min lunch sometimes doesn't matter.

If you are an active person, the 1 hr lunch break gives you an oppurtunity to handle life during the week.

If I work close, I might head home, eat free food. I might hit just hit the gym. I might grab some food with a coworker or my girl. Can't do that in 30 min

Eat at your desk during working hours and you can take your time. Then during actual lunch you can chill them 30 minutes.
