I haven’t experienced a significant blackout in north jersey since hurricane sandy. Pre 2010, it used to always be blackouts in the summer, I hated that shyt.

Why would they need to? All these businesses and schools are closed they ain't using much electricity of any. People being at home not gonn cause a surge.
Electric use is lower on the weekends when everyone is home, so if anything the electric grids will be underloaded. You are just panicking now.
