Again, why doesn't Peyton get this kind of pass?

Rodgers threw 2 picks today. One of them changed the game. Threw a pick last game and looked pedestrian. Regardless of the reasons why...Peyton gets dogged for that and more. Why?

No it didn't, both of the INT Packers got it right back. :heh:

You really trying to fit the narrative for Arod should get the same criticism as Peyton, who a losing playoff record as the most one and done. gtfoh. :heh:

I don't blame Peyton for all of his playoff futility. He did with up against legit tough defense.

That last pick was crucial.

Aaron didn't touch the ball in OT and his coaches made him run the ball 6 times.

He should be commended that he was less than 2 minutes away from beating one of the all-time great defenses in NFL history on one leg, a tweaked ankle, and a mediocre, scared #1 WR. Dude literally limped to a 1st down to force OT.

This has everything to do with the PACKERS as a WHOLE. Even if you talk about the fact they didn't go 14-0 to start the game, it's not his fault that Lacy couldn't get that TD and fell short of the endzone when he could've probably hopped into it, and it's not his fault that his aforementioned mediocre #1 WR Jordy Nelson just flat out dropped the ball to get the TD.

Aaron is the only Packer who came to play throughout the game, everyone else collapsed at the very end.

they had 6 plays inside the 10 yard line on back to back drives and didn't score a touchdown

1. The secondary is dog shyt
2. McCarthy abandoned the passing game for the most part in the second half

This game can absolutely not be blamed on A Rod

going back to the super bowl year, this game reminded me of the Eagles game, the Bears game and the Steelers game

GB jumped on those teams (in ATL's case got destroyed) but the same issues back then happened today

Lack of execution, conservative play calling at times but what saved GB was timely turnovers

And timely turnovers were there today but 1 TD in the red zone is unacceptable with that many chances.

The secondary is actually pretty good. Ha Ha had a good rookie year, Burnett bounces back, Shields and Williams balled out.

I'd venture to say it's the most talented GB secondary since Woodson and Collins were pro bowlers

But they collapsed no question when it counted at the end as did the front 7 which was controlling the line of scrimmage all day

I agree, but when you have Jordy Nelson straight up DROPPING perfectly thrown TD passes topics like this shouldn't be made. :snoop:

The only thing I really think Rodgers should be penalized for in his career is the fact that San Francisco has always owned his soul.

Yeah I guess they weren't awful but they were bad when it mattered and that entire last drive for Seattle was some of the shoddiest GB defense I've seen in a while (Why did Capers play prevent on 3rd and 19)

Yeah he's beaten SF twice in 09 and 10

Lost to em twice in 12

And twice last year in 13

The playoff loss last year came down to who had the ball last basically. Rodgers played good and Lacy on one leg was pounding then. The 13 season opener was a close one too but the defense let Kaep throw for 400 fukking yards :dead:

Dom Capers needs a legit Inside Linebacker who can cover and a Nose Tackle. The Packers have neither on their roster and the only NT we have is Raji who is on IR all year. I'm actually pleased they got this far with two huge holes in their 3-4 defense being negated by two young DTs and Guion with Clay inside.

Until the middle of the defense is fixed, these NFC West teams will keep beating us except for the Rams.
