:russ:

u should ask jay about the drug dealer he drove around and talk to dehaven

The Jay Z I remember circa 93 and 94 was some wannabe rapper who had to pay extortion money to the Bonano Crime Family and the Latin Kings to perform in Brooklyn clubs.

Jay never said he was a kingpin :wtf:
:duck:"Lost 92 bricks had to fall back, had A1 credit got more crack" So who else but a drug lord could lose a million dollar load of coke, 1/10th of a ton of cocaine, yet still be able to get more work? Let's not pretend like Jay Z doesn't promote himself as a drug lord when he was nothing more than a corner boy.

Calvin Klein was the inspiration for Jay Z's whole image. He was the one who lived the life Jay Z portrayed. You can tell from the way he talks to the way he acts he aint no boss. Imagine Jay Z calling me like" uhh so um yeah i need that money you owe me" wouldnt no street soldiers respect him he woulda been ripped off to oblivion.

As someone was in the know and involved in NY’s Hip Hop scene back in the early 90′s, I can tell you this was a flat out lie. Jay Z was a driver for a Brooklyn drug dealer from Marcy Projects and never once made any transactions himself. His drug dealer employer died in a car accident and Jay Z knew where he kept his money, that is how he got into the music business. All his rap songs were about the life of a real drug dealer, he just drove around.

did you ever hear about him getting extorted cuz heads knew what he did and he had to pay to perform in brooklyn clubs?? :russ:
jay is a fraud.
yeah he took his boss' stash and flipped it on the corner, but how does that make one a true dealer?
he did it once and then went bakk to rapping and getting rich THAT way.
jay never caught a charge and i never heard of 1 cop knowing who he was in the 80's and early 90's :stopitslime:
he was a poor boy driver getting skim money frm sales after high school.

when will Jay stop rapping about drug sales? a) when people decide selling drugs isnt that amazing and b) when people stop supporting antiquated marketing ideas.
