Depends..i was in queens village for a little while which has grimy parts the area next to it I think bellerose is the last area in queens which is a working class cac area then you hit Long Island and it's a different world rich kids playing lacrosse it looks like middle America

But areas like rosedale you right by green acres and areas like Belmont that could pass for any queens area

I was out in Amityville recently & that place looks like a war zone. A lot of these Long Island towns are starting to look like extensions of Brooklyn & Queens from the 80's. It's not nearly as nice as it used to be from what I've seen recently.

naw, Im guessing they are like Crown Fried Chicken, we got those in Philly.

I still get confused when Im at a Deli, and the guys asks if I want it on a hero or a roll...

Yeah I believe that company owns both. Those sweet potato pies are crazy. That ish will probably clog your arteries but it's damn good. @*L*E*G*A*C*Y* knows what I'm talking about

New York City & Neverland Ranch
Queens the only Borough, where every neighborhood is different

Hate what's happening to Astoria tho

Astoria is finished. with the proximity to that bridge, LGA and the quick train rides to manhattan, you KNOW those Cro-Magnons were gonna take it over eventually. And it's continuing to be developed as we speak. Rents out there are ridiculous and every a$$hole with property suddenly is a real estate tyc00n.

I'm not saying they ain't bad areas they just look different

If you go out in Suffolk it looks like parts of the Deep South the way the houses are so spread out

Yeah the further east you go out there the more it's spread out. I've been as far as Riverhead to visit cousins & go to those outlets for shopping.

I grew up in a huge 1BR right off Steinway St ...

$600 Rent, I'd be afraid to look up how much Rent would cost now.

There was a time when theres was nothing but cheap hookers and garages in LIC.

Like I tell my DMV brehs buy Condo's in Oxon Hill, Arlington and Alexandria area ... Them shyts are gonna be worth the same price as those Highrises in L.I.C now

Queens village and Cambria heights feels pretty safe to me, not saying they soft but I don't feel the need to watch myself out there. St. Albans is where it starts to get grimy IMO. Bellerose is literally split between white trash and Indians with money.

But na man nothing about elmont screams queens to me, not even a little bit. Maybe it's cause I grew up in northern queens with more of an urban vibe but na. Elmont, valley stream, franklin square... all that shyt feels different to me.

I mean if I remember correctly Elmont literally borders Rosedale.... Hook Creek is the dividing line from what I remember

Valley Stream and Franklin Square are def LI. Elmont is (literally) borderline. Tell u the truth some parts of Cambria Heights feel more like LI than Elmont
