he's dead :dead: and the other one is so irrelevant i don't even know his name

So what? Just cause 2 Pac is dead doesn't mean he's a nobody, he's a Hip Hop legend, just like some of my other favourite rappers such as KRS-One, K-Rino, Nas etc...

After D left Geto Boys...he shoulda clicked up with Rino and a couple other SPC members (like Dope E & Point Blank) and formed a supergroup...shyt woulda been :wow:
Been listening to a lot of Willie recently and actually that shyt could have worked, Willie came with some hard raw political shyt or just in general in an in your face manner and K-Rino would have complimented that well with his aggressive raw style. Would have been hard, they do have quite a few records together but defintely that would have been hard.

Gotta stop you there. Spotted a fallacy. If he's promoting Islam as the answer to cracka/judeo christian world dominion (which he isn't) than that has nothing to do with the "same shyt" that he's railing against. He mainly points out the root of the problem without really going into solutions...at least in his conspiracy oriented tracks. And i don't get where you see he's trying to shove islam down your throat in any of the tracks posted. But he certainly doesn't go in as hard on Islam as he does Christianity.

But in the song " the debate" from the religious mans aspect from the song he was making arguments for the Bible.

I used to listen to the guy, because he is an extroidinary lyricist and he does speak interesting things.

However, now that I think about that song I feel he was being " Double tongue'd" and I mean that in a sense that on one hand he was believing in God's word but dissing it.

Bible says ( this is by no means verbatim) even Lucifer and the Demons believe

If you pay attention...he never speaks against the bible itself...but the people who pervert the scriptures (judeo-christians, evangelicals, catholics etc.)...muslims believe in the bible (the old testament) and the bible is the basis for their whole "religion".

So making arguments for the bible isn't speaking against his own faith.

Due to the concept of the song I think he was just trying to use common things that both sides say and put it into the song. I think he was trying to really do it from people's view points and make it quite solid and somewhat of an interesting "debate"

And like @Iron Chin Wilder said, 1 of the themes have seen with his music is speaking out against manipulation of scripture rather than necessarily the scripture itself. In the N.O.I they study both Christian and Islamic texts.

I think there's an interview he did about the song somewhere, I'll try find it and post it if I can.

I think you're missing what I am saying.

Now I've kind of have to explain how my mind works. Even though something maybe what it just is. My mind automatically goes to other possibilities meanings and or reasons.

So in the song " the debate" ( and in the end I totally respect your opinion!) It could just be a song about a debate with a religious man and an Atheist Man.

But I looked at it from a possible angle, like on one Hand he was arguing for God but he was also dissing the Bible and what religious people believe;but was thinly covering it under a veil of deception of it being a song about a debate. ( Again I'm not saying this is the case just a thought that came into my head).

And at the end,one of the lines in the song says

"Whether Bible or Qur'an see Gods word is the proof". ( In my opinion he is trying to sit on the fence with this line)

But in the song " Surface Dwellers"

The whole first verse he's claiming the Bible is made up and tainted by Shakespear. So even if you're (muslim, black hebrew isrealite who believe in the Old Testament or Christian who believe the whole thing) to me on he's double talking.

He's refering to the new testament there.

Muslims don't believe in the new testament (1611 King James, partially authored and translated by Shakespear)...their new testament is the koran.

In the debate...he's just entertaining both sides of the argument...it's clear what side he falls on by the end of the song.
