Leaving aside all the poor people who were killed and the loss of their families, 9/11 was the day the world changed for the worse, and will never be the same again. I know bad shyt happened before, but I grew up in the nineties, and there was a kind of feeling of hope and innocence after the awful decade which was the eighties. I know it's complicated but I say fukk those who took over those planes, hope they burn in hell. I know what the idiots blair and bush did after was retarded and wrong, I could talk quite a bit about the buffoonery in iraq ,but that awful event gave people who thought like them all the excuses they needed. And no I don't think it was an inside job, before 9/11 there was huge hatred and jealously for america all over the world. It was only a matter of time before some nutjobs did something.
And really I never felt such anger, when I saw the bbc broadcast a question time, where the us ambassador was on,and the audience on there said basically the american people who were killed deserved it. Only time in my life I felt embarrassed to be British. I know the americans are often times stereotyped as stupid, but in that programme it was the british people they had in that audience who were being stupid and not realising the world is more complicated than their own world view . Most were british muslims coincidentially, who were talking that utter shyt. And when one guy bravely called them out, they almost lynched him. Life is more complicated, than claiming victims of an atrocity 'deserved it'.
It's still available on you tube I believe. Most disgraceful thing I have seen on tv. I hope the americans remember the stars and stripes flying alongside the union jack on buckingham palace and the us national anthem being played rather than that.
