so i got an mpk49 and apc40

should i have a preamp or some kind of soundcard between that and my mac ?
i can go straight through w/my firewire and all.

what soundkits should i be puttin in my ableton ?

1) great choice apc40 is beast for abelton (thinking of coppin one)
2) i'd say visit kvr audio as well as the thread here for sound kits...watch many youtube tutorials as they will help you along the way
3) LEARN PIANO! & basic engineering skills (to mix your tracks)
