Started working in an Emergency Room while in college and started working on Electronic Health Records in 2005. Got certified as a builder with our vendor (epic) and have parlayed it into a career where i consult now on various projects. I work from home for the most part, have a flexible schedule, and basically have the ability to choose what projects I want to work on.

Moving to the IT sector was a great move and I advise anyone who wants a long career to look into it. Once a hospital/clinic finally gets off of using paper and into a fully integrated EHR the real work begins

4 turned down due to money and one I am looking like I will accept the offer after the interview. It seem as if they already plan to have me on board.

I have to say that shyt really makes a difference compared to a Bachelor where I had to wait 6 months to get a good gig paying well.

Brehs get your Masters and I would like to add I am in health care information technology sector.

How old are you?
What was your undergrad major?

Don't be afraid to renege on an offer if something juicy comes up before start date, these big corps are not afraid to chew and spit you out either.
