She LIKED HIM DUDE. And clearly was hoping he wasn't THAT dude and that he really liked her for more than sex. So, as many women do we keep giving chances and HOPING shyt changes (well ..some women do this).

the funny thing is, i think OP lowkey kinda liked her in that way.
i think she was attracted to him but mainly wanted attention and affection without committing to him. i think he originally wanted sex but after spending lots of time with her (4 meets), when she said the relationship thing he was taken by surprise cause he wasn't expecting that (cause he words and behavior didn't match so far) but actually considered it. and maybe she wasn't expecting him to say he was considering it, or maybe she interpreted it as a rejection (i personally didn't see it that way when i read the OP). whole lots of mis-communication. But OP will learn and overall, i think while a little clumsy (as we all can be from time to time), he did the right thing if he was true to himself.

I agree. People don't know how to communicate properly. A lot of situations and relationships mess up because of people don't want to sit face to face and really talk and be open about what they both want.

What does it mean he tried to f 3 times? He mentionnws he would try a relationship after she told him that she does nor have sex outside of a serious relationship. Fourth time...fourth time.

Also a guy trying to sleep with you can run the gamut from him putting his arm around to having cheeky conversation fo flirting. but unless it is openly stated that he wants fo have sex...it is open for interpretation.
