So I just came back from watching The Purge....

the children do not merit how the movie is. yes they were annoying dumb fukks but that doesnt mean the movie should rot for it. I just dont nit pick things like ya'll do. ya'll on some top critic steez when u go watch movies.

I am NOT an overly critical person of movies at all. but I had to say something about this movie.
Cause those fukkin kids were WAY to stupid for me. and they had a BIG impact on the movie. it ain't nitpicking when the kids were the biggest reason for the movies stupidity.

and it wasn't just one thing...it was from the beginning to the end. every time they talked or did ANYTHING I wanted to smack the shyt out of them

nikkas on here nitpick everything. That's because they're lame nikkas. They criticize Iron Man, Hangover, Superman, Star Trek, Great Gatsby, etc. They'll find something to be upset about. Keep listening to them You can't go wrong with this as a cool Friday night movie. It did $62 million on a $3 million budget and a sequel is being developed. Obviously, people liked it.

It would be cool if they do a couple of movies in this universe. Maybe you do a Crash style film like someone said earlier on here where you got a bunch of different groups out in the night and their stories converge. Also, it would be dope if the poor revolted against the rich and a lot of wealthy folk got murked on the Purge. Maybe some Government ppl get clipped even though the rules said not to...they can do atleast 2 or 3 more.

never in cinematic history have i felt more compassion for a character like i did for ethan hawke. he had the two dumbest most inconsiderate kids ever. only reason i kinda give the assclown son a half pass is because he saved a brotha...but, nah, cant even do that. that lanister bytch even turned on him. all he wanted to do was have his family ACKRITE! for 12 hours, but they did everything in their power to fukk his plan up. and that swerve was the worse since sting joined the wolfpack.

at the weird-ass kid for disarming the system. dude, you're like 13, this isn't the first year this has happened, why are you such an idiot?

at the black guy being the homeless guy who fukks it up for everyone
at them splitting up. what father would let his daughter, wife and kid wander around the house when power's out, there's a stranger in, and they're under siege?
at the people getting shot right before they were about to kill one of the family members. every damn time.

The only redeemable thing was that the black guy survived and "saved the day".

Don't pay to watch it. It was predictable and ruined a great concept. People in the theater kept laughing at the dumb scenes and actually booed when the movie ended.

I just saw this damn movie and I must say the kids needed a bullet to the head, hell I would have thrown the kids outside the house with the homeless man to that group and let them have at it. They ruined this concept, they could have used the purge idea as a tv show with each season being a bout a different group of people trying to survive the night or plan some kind of heist and get away with it... but they used it on punk ass kids

Black guy wandering the street wonder why people wanna kill him. I mean did you miss that theres a purge happening
Kid opening the alarm system was fine, I mean someone had to be compassionate but
The stupid boyfriend trying to kill the father like the daughter is going to forgive him for that
The daughter telling the son shes going to his "safe room" and him not doing anything but sitting there
Kids disappearing all over the house.
No back up generator
So the next day the neighbors and the family will just get along like that?


My biggest gripe
HOW THE FUKK DO YOU SELL SECUTIRY SYSTEMS AND HAVE A HOUSE THATS SO EASY TO BREAK INTO.
NO PANIC ROOM OR ANYTHING. AND WHY THE fukk IS IT SO EASY TO BREAK INTO SOMEONES HOUSE THAT EASY!!!
