the hell are you talking about? If I was all dressed up and practically out the door and get a text like that, I would be pissed off. The fact you replied to her text like that shows you don't take yourself seriously. She wasted your time and money, and you basically told her it was okay.

That's why you do the "hang out" a couple of times before you invest in a female. If somethings going down around town casual, "I'm headed to so and so, if you're free you should come too". If she's down you get to scope her out a little bit, be casual and cool and see if she can be casual and cool. If she's not, she don't really wanna be with you, she's looking for an experience, not a mate.

i respectfully disagree with this advice. there is no need to ask her why she is canceling. if she felt like sharing why she is canceling she would have done so in the same text/convo. i don't feel like he'd get much from asking why. just saying "ok, it's cool" and actually believing it is better IMO because it leaves space for her to fix it if it was a legit excuse, to explain why if she feels like he deserves an explanation, etc, etc...basically you just say "cool" and don't think about it anymore because you're already moving on. If she manages to fix it cool, if not
