2014 Lexus GS350 F-Sport AWD.

I know.....I know....HUGE downgrade. But it was time to down grade for awhile. The next time I come up it's going to be :banderas:

And the cash back I got on my trade will pay for a few vacations.

Things I miss:
- 507 HP
- Ruling the road/highway 99% of the time

Things I don't miss
- 11 MPG city
- It dropping to 8 MPG when in idle
- 15 MPG combined

The GS is a nice car. Understated.

Things I like:
- the MPG. Averaging about 20. Which is better than 15.
- don't feel every bump like I did in my CLS in Sport II Mode. Even comfort wasn't great.
- the maroonish/red interior
- the tech package, especially the lane change assist

Things I don't like
- I miss the feel of a V8. Hard to explain.

I test drove a Audi A6, BMW 535i, and an Audi A7. In the end the money that Audi wants for the A7 on lease just isn't worth it. Plus I'd hate myself every time I saw a S7 on the road. The A6 is too boring for my tastes. And the 535i sport is overpriced. The real value is in the 550i . But I went into this with the goal of being under $600 in payment.

Anyone else have a GS?

Im on my 2nd GS. I have a 08 GS350 and for the price/value not too many cars can compete. Never had a Benz, but the reliability and comfort of a Lexus is:ehh:

Right before they took the plates off my CLS and drove it away. Had to do new plates because I was moving to a lease. I told the salesman I wanted the new front plates zip stripped on the bottom grill of the GS and the idiot drilled holes in the bumper and mounted them.:mindblown:

All the black you see on my CLS63 is plastidip (lip, hood vent, grill). You can see it wearing off on the wheels. I didn't bother peeling shyt off before turning it in. The only thing I'm going to do to the GS is vinyl wrap the roof black.

The CLS63's leather and suede interior can't be beat. But the new tech in the GS kills it hands down.

Having a hard time avoiding curbs in the GS. Maybe it's because it sits higher? :dahell:

dude's a fukking idiot for drilling into the car. :snoop: I hate front plates, but here in Jersey it's mandatory. down in Miami no fukks are given tho.

I noticed that with most Lexus sedans, they do ride higher than normal, kinda like Caddy's to give you the effect of riding on a cloud. smooth as silk. :noah:
the Infiniti M's are like that as well.

My salesman didn't get it. He kept telling me it was the law and I probably don't want to break it :russ:In the time I had my CLS the only time I had a front plate was when I went in for a inspection sticker. I'd zip strip it on and cut it off right after (If you notice it's zip stripped on my CLS from an inspection I got the week prior when I was planning on keeping the car)

In 4 1/2 years of having my CLS I was pulled over 1 time and I didn't get a ticket.

Few of the salesman at the Lexus dealer I bought from dropped their cars a 1/2 inch and it didn't effect the ride and it looks 10000000x better. I'm still undecided.
