the f-sport is not the real 'F' version, they are like base models with a different exhaust ,suspension setup and fancy Dash thats it. you can literally buy a base model and buy the F-Sport parts and bolt them on later on.
they released the true GS-F for '16.

Yes. I know that. I knew what I was buying. It's essentially a sports package. Just like people who buy the //M sports package know they aren't getting anything but trim, wheels and suspension. I knew the step down I was taking (514HP to 325HP or something). I told the Lexus dealer put every available option on it. And that's what I got (F-Sport, nav, remote start, moon roof, mark levinson system and whatever else there is) .

Both the RC-F and the IS-F were available when I bought this car. Wasn't interested in either.

And to be honest if the 'real' GS-F was out at the time I bet I'd still be here typing out the same thing. That I'm disappointed. I test drove one not even 2 days ago. Not even close to the RS6/M5/E63/CTS-V. I'm starting to think that anything less than 400lb of torque just doesn't do it for me anymore (450lb in teh 63 was heaven).

P.S. Anyone who bolts on parts (suspension, dampers, wheels, steering wheel, seats, rear wheel steering (can that be bolted on??) etc etc) to make their regular GS look like a sports package F-sport GS is a clown. And as far as I can tell my dashboard is no different from the regular non sport GS.

New? I wish Breh. Not at that level yet. A matter only made worse by Porsche's horrible lease deals.

Maybe in 2020 when all of them start coming off lease. lol
Porsche lease deals are trash like that?

How's bmw?

Porsche and Audi or notorious for their bad lease deals. It makes sense for Audi since residuals are horrible. But not so much for Porsche.

With BMW it depends on the car. You can get into a base M3 6MT for under $700 a month with a little work and max MSDs (money down that you get back at end of lease). But you'd be hard pressed to get into a the new M2 for less than $800 and its MSRP is $20k less.

Money factor, residuals and a host of other stuff all factor in.

People always seem to forget that you can still negotiate cap cost on leases. Lexus GAVE away my GS to me. Im paying $408 (that's after tax) a month on a $61k car with 2 MSDs and all closing rolled in. People are paying that for Camrys.
Plus I made $$$$$ off my CLS. Their TV advertised special at the time was $499 a month with $4,999 down and closing due at signing for a $52k car. Take one look at lease trader and see all of the idiots who paid that and more :russ:

Always negotiate a lease.
