^^^haha. First do u want to explain your other point about how "u listen to breakfast club for hours???"

But to answer u ur right I DON'T LISTEN to it after that first time. I gave it a listen to see what the "hype" was about and listening to it was embarrassing. I Commented about how it was and that's It. His music is corny.
I said I listen to it driving to work, which takes ONE hour. :why: the fukk is you talking about?

Thats cool and gravy my nikka but that doesn't answer my question breh.

The premise of the original post you quoted me on was directed towards the dude that said he's being force to listen to Kendrick. I'm asking how?

Listen too all his albums breh, yeah we are older so he aint saying shyt we haven't heard. but the kid is nice

I agree he can rap. He absolutely murdered the song "Alright".

But that's it for me. I'm trying to understand the hype but when I listen to his albums I'm just not interested. No real gems being dropped. No new insight. And he doesn't even flow as good as we know he could on most songs.

do you like any Kendrick projects?

honestly bruh, this has always been my problem with dude. People say he's deep and I'm like: 'what the fukk is deep about him?' I could stomach the shyt flow and beats if he really was being insightful/witty. But he just isn't.

And I wouldn't even care about his mediocrity, if it wasn't for the fact that his team and blog payola insists on forcing him on hip hop's Mount Rushmore. Which is just fukking offensive.

:mjlol:

Homie, keep it real. The only reason you're not barking on Fred hexagram is because he thinks the album is cool. He just wasn't big on a few joints. The point is, he gave you the validation you so deeply crave.

Lots of us have given thoughtful reasons for why we're not fukking with this song/album, and we were dismissed.

"It's cool" is short hand for "I don't like this so I'm not going to spend time shytting on it". I don't like the album at all, for reasons I outlined to @Kaypain.

I think Drake is terrible and I don't even think I posted in his last album thread at all. I'm just not gonna OD and shyt on it in multiple threads, because I don't see the point. I got shyt I like that I can listen to.

I get that you don't like the album, or Kendrick, but like dude said the shyt is above and beyond "I don't like this" into the territory of having an agenda. I don't mean you, I mean sit back and objectively look at the shyt that's being said about the album. The same dudes that talk about how many records Drake sold will try to say white people fanboy over Kendrick. It's like....who do you think went out and made Drake platinum?

I been into rap since '83 breh, I'm about as "keep it real" old school as you can get. But rap is a multi-billion dollar business. Anything you see in the rap game is orchestrated....nothing is accidental. So yeah Kendrick is probably a plant, he's probably getting a push....but "The Source" gave "Illmatic" 5 mics because they let a Nas stan review it. And I love Nas. But if you want to look at virtually everything with a critical eye, you will see this didn't start with Kendrick Lamar, so why focus on him? Because you don't like his music?

Fred.

You're talking to someone who made an entire thread jiving about how everyone hates the artist he stans. The reason he's so active in these threads and has nothing better to do but troll in The Booth is because nobody talking about his favorite artist

This must be why the cacs don''t like King Kunta...

You really think that's the problem? I'm black,my favorite era in hiphop was the chronic era. But kendrick shyt is just weak and anytime you feel you're being forced fed bullshyt then you're going to respond accordingly.
If kendrick and/or his team didnt do some of the bullshyt they've done (the bio on his now defunct kendricklamar.org ,acting like he's a new AND IMPROVED 2PAC,the big media brainwash push for GKMC & TPAB,the control song where he disses a bunch of nikkas he was cool wit and calls himself king of ny,then ducks when shots are returned. Then when he returns with an album he's not even remotely trying to "murder you nikkas make sure your fans act like they never heard of you nikkas" It's fukk boy shyt and real nikkas aint giving him a pass. Plus his music is wack.
If all the fukkery wasnt going on people wouldnt be so harsh BUT THEY ALSO wouldnt be paying attention or talking bout him period so he has to take the good with the bad and his fans have to also.

Fred, respectfully I don't think you've seen my earlier posts on other threads about non-Kendrick related matters. So you're treating these comments like I'm only going after Kendrick but really, I'm just anti-hyperbole in general. Right now, Kendrick's wearing the crown of it so he's gonna get got.

You've been into rap since 83, I've been into it since 96/97. I'm well aware that Duckworth is not the first to benefit from hype. But let's keep it a stack - only Kendrick fans are pretending like Kendrick is the one of the greatest the genre has ever seen, and disrespecting those who think that claim is ludicrous. That's why the backlash is there. Look at bigbadbossup's post above.

Kendrick's the only one catching all these threads, because his team, machine and stans insist on hyperbole. And if you say "nah I'm not fukking with this", you get dissed and dismissed. Like Shyne on Hot 97. shyt is real.

I willing to bet there are far more Kendrick threads than J Cole and Drake threads combined. Ever wonder why that is?

not Fred, but SirBiatch.
