Never have I seen an artist forced down the listeners throat as being the savior of hip hop (pause) Dude is terrible, nothing witty, no good flow, mediocre beats, no story about his life. Homie, keep it real. The only reason you're not barking on Fred hexagram is because he thinks the album is cool. He just wasn't big on a few joints. The point is, he gave you the validation you so deeply crave.

Lots of us have given thoughtful reasons for why we're not fukking with this song/album, and we were dismissed.

Kendrick is a talent, that can't be denied, but his music only touches a well defined crowd for the most part, he is the epitome of a backpack rapper marketed to internet blog savvy youth, nothing wrong with that tho, props to him, but alotta cats are not gon feel him like that . Kendrick's never made a song I love, and played more than 5 times. His voice and his beats are trash to me. and those two things are the most important qualities in hip hop for me.

"The Recipe" is still his best shyt imo. I'm not a big fan of "Money Trees", but I can tolerate it. It's clearly one of the best songs he's ever done because it's the one his fans gravitate to.
