I mean listen, look how women act around celebrities and musicians
They more wow'ed by the person, the image, way more than the music.
If a man sees an artist they like they gonna see and that person remember the hits they love, or the hits that are hits to them, the bangers.
But if a woman sees that person, they gonna see the person first not the music, they going to see his image, his presentation, his facade.
Men ain't gonna care about that, they care about the music.
So that means specifically in the circle of people that are into music, the men are the music fans and women are just the groupies....
If I am right, that's a sad ass fact
I could be trippin tho I had alot, but I feel like I just discovered something MAJOR!!
Like a groundbreaking thought
lol, I don’t know a single woman that has went to a concert because they liked the way someone looks. I think for some, they like the songs and the looks just makes them more of a fan. For some women, they want to find the artist they like attractive.
For the vapid women, they see an attractive artist and they want to go backstage and be the Dirty Diana.
Personally, I love lyrics and I love how lyrics and the arrangement of the music bring about the emotional layers.
I prefer live bands more than anything else and it’s probably because I was in band for years in school and my mother taught me to have an appreciation of musicianship and instrumentation, so I can always appreciate how each instrument contributes to the overall sound. That’s also including the vocal aspect. I also love the effort put into production and the lyrics that contribute to what the artist is trying to convey. When it comes to rap, I appreciate a lot of rap songs but I’m more of a fan of singers and songwriters. I just enjoy how their voices convey their emotions through their lyrical delivery and how the lyrics give further depth to the emotion.
That’s one of the reasons certain rap artists resonate more with me than others. If you have a monotone delivery but are saying things that actually are considered “woah” to people. I need to find that emotion while listening to it and sometimes I can’t.
Regardless I just think that there are groupies amongst both sexes. There’s no way that people look at Drake as being the GOAT and rappers like Future as being some type of MC and not come off as a groupie.
There are plenty of men that just want something to dance to and there are plenty of women that want to be able to hear something that has a message.
Basically stop generalizing women. Men and women are so disconnected sometimes that it’s puzzling.
