Wasn't into wrestling at the time. When I came back I only kept up with the E; watched maybe 1 or 2 TNA shows.
This. I'd watch WWE and on occassion TNA (Lashley as champ was the best run since getting back in the game). Just too much to keep up with it all. Now it's strictly PPVs for E and ROH other than live events. :yeshrug: and the monthly PWG recap music video :lolbron:

I've still been watching to some degree. Tna hasn't exactly been consistent in this decade.:ld:

Kurt had a good run in tna tho.

Main event mafia:myman:

kurt's tna run involves his best in ring work of his career I think, matches/feuds with joe, aj, putting over jay lethal (although tna completely botched the booking afterward) his tag run with aj, even his anderson feud was somehow really good. The shyt with jarrett and there's so much more I'm forgetting.

MEM was fun, I liked the character he developed throughout his wwe run a lot but if I put together a personal favorite dvd of kurt angles best matches it would be at least 2/3 tna I think.

I think I'm going to go back and watch his wwe stuff on the network to see how it holds up and if my opinion changes at all, never really revisited any of that other than a random mania match here and there

He retired back in 2006, Sting hasn't wrestled since 2001, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Booker T and Christian all took sabbaticals from the WWE as far as I'm concerned :yeshrug:

Its like watching Nas/Jay/Eminem sign to Koch records and rap over indy beats. Or watching your favorite game developer ONLY make games for the Wii-U now.

We saw a GOAT contender perform on the grandest stage for years and now went to a lesser platform, most aren't willing to make the downgrade to follow even their favorite performers on anything. Peaks only last a limited time and once you witnessed it, you don't want to see the decline. Who still buys DMX albums anymore? Who still plays Resident Evil? Who still enjoys Kane matches anymore? We saw Kurt at his best and we don't want to see anything lesser from our GOAT.

except some of his bigger matches in TNA were better than his bigger WWE matches...

don't let the size of the arena fool you on whats actually important
