Okay let me slow it down for you...condoms on protect against COVERED areas. Condoms can't cover EVERYTHING. The quote even says "reduces risk "only when the infected area or site of potential exposure is protected"
Nor do these CDC quotes go against my original post which clearly stated:
condoms only slightly cut the risk of herpes and does not prevent against HPV at all.
The only thing inaccurate about what I said was the "at all" part about HPV, but again, the CDC clearly states that "may reduce risk" NOT that it prevents.
