Why do I keep taking math courses in the summer?

You taking calc 1 or calc 2? I'm taking calc 2 right now breh. Failed that shyt last semester.. didn't study until the night before and my teacher sucked ass.

Man really put forth the effort into learning the basics of that shyt brobro especially if your an Engineer it will help in future Math classes. I had a Graduate Assistant for my Calc 1 class and he would give us a study guide the week before the test which would be exactly the same as the real test just with different numbers so I would just memorize the steps to doing each question and then spit it back out for the test. Got an A in Calc 1 but so far I failed/dropped Calc 2 like 3 times bc I never learned the actual shyt

Go through all the slides, see the examples and try to understand the concepts involved
Read your notes and see what he highlighted
If you don't understand something make sure to youtube it

Start with the hardest shyt to the easiest. You might not do well but you can still pass. Then bust your ass to ace the quiz and final.

OR

Drop the course and take it during the next summer semester.

i remember i was basically failing in my micro econ class and needed a legit A on my final to pass. I crammed like 12 hours of studying in one night, took the test in the morning, and gotta 97%. final grade of C in the class

On the real, forget about your social life. Whatever you think you should be doing outside of school, forget about it. That is if you plan to get an A

I for one took Calc 1 during Winter, 6-week course. All I did was study for an average of 7 hours, and I had a 3-hour lecture beginning at 7 am.

So my advice is, turn off your phone, and go back to your books.. Do every single relevant problem in the sections covered by your teacher, and you should be fine. Especially if he posts online exams from previous semesters

Winter and Summer terms, teachers don't fukk around. They are relentless, because you should be aware that it's an accelerated course. So if you fall behind and screw up, you should automatically be contemplating dropping the class.

He should study the examples he went over in class and hope the teacher doesn't make the test harder than those questions.

Absolutely, I agree with you. However, the only reason why I said that was because you suggested OP to email his teacher, and ask him if he could take the test the following day, which is out of question for most teachers, if not all of them.

Yeah, if he told the teacher a couple days in advance then it could be done but the night before the test.. and the teacher won't really see it.
