I'm not really into men who try to impress me, but generosity is a trait I find appealing -- it's something I possess and I'm drawn to others who are the same. That doesn't mean I expect a man to always pay (as I mentioned in my previous post) but I am wary of men who overanalyse the expenditure of dates. Having said that, you're right in the sense that what I might consider 'a few dollars' may mean a lot to another person depending on their circumstance. But my reason for saying that, did not come from an inconsiderate place.... I just feel that in the getting to know stages, IF you can afford nice dates... why not?
