with A&M's sorry defense, they'd be about right where they are. Maybe worse. Teams like Baylor, OSU and Texas would run on them at will. Plus they'd have more conference games due to not benefitting from that bullshyt SEC schedule.

I could tell he was trolling in certain parts of the article but the reason I posted it was because the 2nd half of his piece is what people were arguing about in this thread. PCP assumed I agreed with the article when I never said either way. All I said was it was interesting because that is what the thread morphed into.

I think we're soundly better than every SEC team outside of Bama, and I actually think we match up as well with Bama as any team in the country. Not that impressed with their secondary, we'd be able to throw all over them. And we're stout enough along the lines to hold our own, as well.
But being better doesn't automatically mean they'd go undefeated. We're notorious for losing to mediocre teams in past years. But this year is different.
However, we haven't had a single let down moment this year. I guess maybe the Boston College game, but even then, we were up 21 in the 4th quarter and they scored a TD to bring it to within 14. That's the extent of close game adversity we've faced this year. Dominated their competition thoroughly. Meanwhile, sorry ass Ohio State is going down to the wire at home vs Wisconsin and shyt.
