Its better than most tv seasons, by a good margin, but worse than other wire seasons

It's still good television, but without a doubt it's the worst season of "The Wire".And I wanted to know if it's as bad as i've heard. Of course I should watch it and have my own opinion but I just want to know if there is anything I can look forward to?
Seasons 1-4 are pure fire. If you watch it you should give your impressions as you go along. I failed at doing that.

Very. So is marlo/michaels, and omars. The core story and bubbles is good. The police's story and the news story are pretty poor or boring bringing the season down

Yah. Everything I've heard about season 5 has been negative though.

I don't know why people hate on this season...its still lightyears ahead of anything else that has been on tv in a lonnng time...the acting is still top notch and the characters are great; fukk the critics its still the best show
