Some good advice in here breh. I was down in the dumpster around May last year when I was broke as fukk, started smoking more which I dont recommend as it doesnt really help in that kind of situation. One small but silly thing I did and would recommend is listen to some 2pac. For real that I would put in the headphones I swear pacs words just went through my body, guy was a genius and helped me when i was really down for some reason. Or any artist you find uplifting.

"In times of danger dont freeze, time to be a G" :wow:

I hope you find peace breh. Never knew there were so many brehs on The Coli in bad situations :mjcry:

Favorite Tupac line

I think all the drinking sucked you in a hole breh. That seems like the only thing you look forward too. You need clarity first and foremost. A change of job won't do that because you not in the right state of mind. Listening to you rant I can tell you eat bad as well. Personally I would suggest starting with small changes to your diet. Drink more water. Steam vegetables like broccoli and spinach. Stuff like that is natural drugs that boost your mood. Once you get clarity of mind then you can reassess your situation.

Gems right here.

I'm 9 days clean off LIQUOR. Still sipping wine and brews tho. Looking to cut the hard liquor off for a while.

Def need to eat better. I'm sleeping on how much that effects your mental health

I'm sorry you're feeling that way. It's not too late for you to find something you like to do it's just a matter of finding it. Try reading a book called "48 days to the work you love" by Dan Miller. It's not too late to invest either so if you want I can send you the Brass Knuckle finance e-book and investing guide and maybe you can cop a part-time and start using that money to invest with. If you started putting money into mutual fund now and on a regular basis, you could have a nice piece of change by 50.

i wouldn't kill myself in your situation.

first thing i would do is start lifting weights. register to a gym and start a weight lifting program that you will follow with discipline. no need to go health crazy but also eat a little cleaner.

also, sit down and write. write why you are unhappy. write what you don't like about your life, what you want to change, write what you want. write why you want it, what will it get you. get to the common denominator. then seperate the list into stuff that just can't be helped (people who passed away, mistakes from the past, etc). and the stuff that you can change. Then you need to make logical plans on how to get what you want with clear measurable objectives and timelines. write it all down.

then slowly, redesign your life and living space, relationships, habits, mental train of thoughts, take all that and redesign/realign them with the sole purpose of supporting these plans that you have. stick to it as much as possible. re-evaluate and retweak whenever you need. forgive yourself and pick yourself up to go even harder after the rare times you slip up.

life isn't that serious breh. i mean it is but it isn't...the fact you have no wife or children to take care of, you might as well go all out and be great. if whatever you've been doing for the last 40 years hasn't been working for you, maybe you should try to switch it up and go a little left with it if only to see what happens.

get your hustle on. learn to find joy in the hustle and grind of it all. pay down your debt if you can and try to be as free as you can (whatever freedom means to you...)

but no i wouldn't kill myself if i were you. I won't even tell you to eliminate fear out your life. But what i will tell you is that you need to stop being your fear's bytch. Good luck breh.

Just gonna quit this job and go back on the grind, back to security temporarily and see what else comes up. i don't really know, anything will take time. Need to get away from these people around me and get folks that can help but people with something don't fukk with people with nothing, I got people that embarrass themselves cuz they do shyt they don't qualify for.

also sickle cell is a oxygen and blood disorder you're not gonna be swole with that. I'm 6 feet 190 but I'm 24 percent body fat.

Yeah I got to lose the bf.

I will stop drinking.
