i don't know who she is but what did she say about blacks on twittter? and how could she continue to survive in a pc environment if she did say racist stuff
and the reason they don't go crazy on the toothpaste is because they have to do the scenes multiple times and probably don't want to spend a half hour brushing their teeth
To be honest , you know most whites don't hang out with blacks at all anywhere, this is real as it gets, i don't get the venom having non minority's on the show, when friends was on, i sad the same thing, how many blacks lived in their building or could afford to, none , i go out allot and live in this city but i do not see the utopia of races mixing together. Some whites mix most don't bottom line. It would seem forced if they did, look at where Hanna works at the coffee shop, that place is small as hell, locals only and looked where Marnie worked you think we getting hired there? Now if they made a show of blacks and spanish living in those areas and trying to live, you would have to whites on it, fair no, but real yes.Props to her as a writer but fukk her for no diversity in the cast. Donald doesn't count. His character is a conservative, young black male....in Brooklyn. Conservative? In Brooklyn?

I'm not from New York, but I've heard its diverse; but on a daily basis, how much do people interact with each other outside of their own race? My father went to Howard back in the 70's in D.C., and he told me you could go weeks without seeing a white person. When I lived in NE D.C., I could go weeks without seeing a white person. From what I understand, the show takes place in a gentrified area of Brooklyn. I'm not gonna get bent out of shape over her, she's not putting in money in my pockets. I do think she's a racist, but the show is broadcast on HBO. You gotta not only pay for cable service, but pay additionally to watch the show on HBO.![]()
trust me, i'm not black but i know people like her and they are some of the most aggravating people on the planet who are completely unaware of their privilege and completely lack self-awareness. you wouldn't want to be around them anyways.

It is true, you got guys on this site saying the show is wack and they making up twitter stories about her, bottom line is this, do whites/ blacks run into each other, yes, do we work together not so much and do we live in the same areas, not so much either. I mean NYC people speak on it, do you work with whites where you work? How much interaction do you really have with them? I work by myself, so the whites i see are clients, the people who run my company are white and Asian and i see them maybe every 3 months, i live in an Asian area, they don't mix, almost 4 years there and i don't even get a hello. I eat in Astoria and the manager is white and cool, most of the hostess are white and they are not so cool, last time i ate there my bill was 14.06 and i was going to give the hostess a 5 tip, i gave her a 20 and said give me 1 dollar back, she gave me a the 5 saying i thought you wanted to give me a buck, she tried playing me infront of the customers, but the manager said i had been there for the last 4 years and always tipped the same. She got fired for that bs. So enjoy the show for what it is, it is real as can be.thats sounds way to dramatic,it aint that serious breh
